SCARS Project

This project is for those struggling with mental health, bearing scars from self-harm and women with scars resulting from domestic violence.

Since childhood, I’ve been deeply interested in mental health—not just out of curiosity, but out of necessity. Like many of you, I am neurodivergent, and I’ve been navigating my own mental health battles for over a decade. These struggles began early. I faced self-destructive behaviors and encountered individuals who left me with emotional scars. Over time, I realized that these scars are not just reminders of pain but symbols of my victories. I’ve learned that time, patience, and self-love are the keys to healing.

Please, be gentle with yourself. Be patient, kind, compassionate, and take care in your journey. Our scars may carry pain, suffering, discomfort, and even judgment—but I believe they are works of art, each telling the story of the battles we’ve fought to be here today. I want you to see your scars as the masterpieces they are: you’ve overcome, you are here, you are alive.
